Dr. Adriana Dyurich, received her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Texas A&M Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) and is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. Dr. Dyurich has extensive experience working with youth and adults facing life stresses related to burnout, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She has helped professionals and trainees of diverse ages overcome personal and academic difficulties to become successful.

Apart from her private practice, Dr. Dyurich is a Behavioral Health/ Academic Success Consultant for graduate medical education at UT Health SA. In that role she has helped residents and fellows navigate the stresses and difficulties of their training and has concentrated her research efforts in studying ways to prevent and mitigate burnout, depression, anxiety and suicidality.

Dr Dyurich has presented her projects and theories at local, national, and international conferences. Her research concentrates in issues related to wellness, growth, pain, achievement, motivation and women issues including perinatal mood disorders, postpartum depression, parenting and social justice.

She has trained and presented on the use of DBT (for which she received an excellence award), received the 3MT Doctoral Award at TAMUCC for her research on perinatal depression, and has published articles and book chapters on the use of Narrative Therapy. Dr. Dyurich also has extensive training and expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Wellness Counseling, Trauma Focused CBT, Play Therapy and other therapeutic methods. Dr. Dyurich utilizes her knowledge and expertise in her practice, offering an integrative, holistic approach to support the flourishing of those with whom she is fortunate to work.
